Schehrer (1990) studied a cutoff priority queuing model with two cutoff limits for application to the traffic of telephone network, where a recursive method was used to solve the queuing model. More recently, Gurvich et al. (2008) used the Schaack and Larson (1986)’s model to develop an approximated optimization procedure with application to call centers systems.
