Stelios Zanakis is Professor and Chairman, Decision Sciences Department at Florida International University. Previously he was Associate Professor and Director of Industrial Engineering Program at the West Virginia College of Graduate Studies. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration, MBA, MA in Statistics, all from The Pennsylvania State University, and a MS in Mech./Elec. Engineering from the Greek National Technical University. He is the author of over thirty publications in various scientific journals, co-editor of a special volume of Management Science on “Optimization in Statistics” and co-author of a forthcoming AIIE monograph on “Mathematical Programming Applications in Production Planning and Scheduling”.
