Abstract

Aphasia is a language disorder caused by brain damage. In psycholinguistics it is investigated with naming tasks in which a subject is asked to name simple objects presented as pictures to him. Using neural networks with the principle of spreading activation, we have constructed a simulation model. Its properties are studied in this paper treating especially network behavior.
