Image reconstruction from one bit of phase information

Abstract

A new method for reconstructing images from one bit of phase information of a function that is closely related to the original image is reported here. The result is based on properties of zeros of the real part of the discrete Fourier transform of certain monotonic sequenes that are related to the original image in an interesting fashion.
