Parallel group explicit method for two-dimensional parabolic equations

Abstract

In this paper, a new group explicit method for solving parabolic equations in 2 dimensions is given. The operation count for the New Group explicit algorithm is presented. The comparison of this method with the method of fractional steps is included. The parallel implementation of this method on a mesh connected computer is given.
