    Citation Excerpt :

More compact representations have been proposed for polygon graphs [25,26] and for triangle meshes [10,17,27–32]. Their connectivity storage cost per triangle is only a few times larger than that of compressed representations [8,33,34]. Even though some variants have been proposed recently that support streaming [30,35] or graph editing [36], most these compact representations do not support efficient connectivity editing or streaming, because they assign vertex and triangle IDs in a specific order, and because they use global ID.
