Asymptotic growth bounds for the Vlasov–Poisson system with a point charge

Abstract

We study classical solutions to the Cauchy problem for a positive Vlasov–Poisson plasma interacting with a positive point charge in ${\mathbb{R}}^3$. We prove a growth bound about the size of the velocity support of the phase space density.
