The state of Florida's Department of Health (DOH) operates www.floridashealth.com1 as its electronic portal to health information and services provided by the department. The site, also accessible at the url www.doh.state.fl.us, was created in 2000 and is updated daily. My overall impression as to the purpose of the site is that it is mainly a portal or a hub where users might go to find other relevant sites, such as a link to their local county health department
