Affine Algebraic Varieties Relative to an Algebraic Theory

Abstract

Affine algebraic varieties relative to an algebraic theory are introduced and described as irreducible components of affine algebraic sets. Their category is shown to be dually equivalent to the category of irreducible functional algebras.
