Abstract
An approach to expedite the computation of functions on grids is discussed. The GridComp integrated library developed by the author is described. This library is based on the combined use of symbolic and numerical means, which makes it possible to expedite such computations. The library can be used in C and C++ codes and in the computer algebra system Maple.
