A Study of the Use of Micro-based Networks in British Schools

Abstract

During the summer of 1987, a study was made of the use of Prestel and The Times Network for Schools (TTNS) as electronic communications systems in British schools. The results discussed here provide information on school use of networks and on the activities in schools where good practice has been identified.
