Summary: This letter proposes a simple and efficient random-binning based distributed source coding (DSC) scheme for application to remote source estimation in wireless sensor networks. The scheme jointly encodes data from multiple sensors with side information. It achieves high coding efficiency and reduces power and bandwidth consumption. | |||||
