Abstract:
This paper addresses the problem of fault estimation and fault-tolerant control for a class of non-Gaussian stochastic systems subject to simultaneous time-varying actuator and sensor faults. In this work, sensor faults, actuator faults, and general stochastic characteristics are taken into consideration in a unified framework. For such systems, the output distribution is adopted in designing the controller. Square root rational B-spline approximation is used to fit the distribution shape. An on-line fault estimation scheme is proposed for simultaneous actuator and sensor faults estimation. Then, an augmented adaptive fault tolerant controller is designed to compensate for the faults and realize stochastic output distribution tracking.
