Abstract:
In the low inductance brushless DC motor, the conventional PWM control method makes relatively large copper loss because of the ripple current. We propose a new method which controls the bridge circuits non-complementarily to improve the power efficiency. And we also propose a feedforward current control method, without current pickups, based on the circuit analysis of switches and the motor.
