Abstract:

In this paper, we present a fog computing-based node-to-node (N2N) communication architecture and mobility management scheme for 5G networks. In the proposed scheme, the mobile user can communicate with another user with limited network support. The mobile nodes are associated with next-generation evolve node B (gNB) and import the required information from nearby fog server and process it by data analytic units (DAUs). As they are deployed in massive numbers within the network service area. They give and take the services from nearby gNBs to established N2N communication mode. A novel mobility management scheme is also proposed to utilize the N2N communication system dynamic mobile users. The signalling cost, network energy consumption, delay, and latency are the performance parameters. The simulation and numerical results are compared with 4G/LTE networks and obtaining 40% of improvements over it.
