Abstract:
This paper demonstrates the effectiveness of higher order controllers for uncertain systems. Gain scheduling control is a powerful control strategy for robust control, if the uncertainty is measurable. If the uncertainty is not measurable, uncertainty might be estimated by using filters. Using such estimation filters gain scheduling controllers can be regarded as higher order controllers. Accordingly, higher order controllers might achieve better performance for uncertain systems. This paper considers a design problem of robust dynamical state feedback, as an example of higher order controller. This paper also demonstrates the effectiveness of it.
