Abstract:

The main purpose of this paper is to present methods for the approximation of the robust domain of attraction (RDA). We consider polynomial systems where the uncertainty is given by a polynomial mapping of an interval into the uncertainties. Using Lyapunovs stability theory as a basis we develop methods to compute in a constructive way based on Bézout matrices and the theorem of Ehlich and Zeller an approximation to RDA. We illustrate the effectiveness of the method with three examples.
