Abstract:
In the past, studies tended to classify mutual funds according to arbitrary definitions. In this paper, we applied machine learning techniques to assist the process. Compared to artificial selection, our classification method offers high accuracy. Hence, machine learning techniques can provide predictive insights and tremendous power in mutual fund investment decision and risk management.
