Objective To introduce the clinical experience of Professor Xie treating obesity with acupuncture and moxibustion. Methods According to syndrome differentiation, treating obesity with characteristic treatments of acupuncture and moxibustion such as acupuncture, catgut-embedding therapy at acupoints, auricular acupuncture ect. Results Acupuncture and moxibustion shows a good curative effect on obesity in clinical practice. Conclusion Treating obesity with acupuncture and moxibustion could be promoted clinically.
