Abstract:

We successfully developed a lateral flow imunnoassay (LFIA) test, based on cadmium telluride (CdTe) carboxyl-functionalized quantum dots (QDs). The LFIA test is used for rapid quantitative detection of creatine kinase myocardial fraction (CK-MB), an important predictive cardiac protein biomarker. The antibody solutions were printed on nitrocellulose membrane using an inkjet printer (DIMATIX - DMP 2800).
