Abstract:
This research delves into the realm of multi-robot systems, with a focus on integrating remote operation technologies. It aims to examine how different levels of automation impact user experience and efficiency in controlling multiple robots simultaneously. Through a unique approach that blends automation with human interaction, the study aims to advance capabilities in multi-presence environments, laying groundwork for future advancements. At its core is the development of a state-of-the-art multi-presence system, integrating advanced robotic arms for remote manipulation tasks. Special attention is given to automation features to enhance user control. The research outlines a comprehensive experimental setup to rigorously test system performance, assessing aspects like user efficiency and cognitive load.
