Abstract:
In this paper, the robust stability and stabilization problem for a class of linear uncertain neutral systems with time-varying delays is considered. Based on an augmented Lyapunov functional, by employing linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique and free-weighting matrix approach, sufficient conditions for the design of state feedback controller is presented. The derived controller is applied for the robust stabilization of the linear neutral system in the presence of time-varying delays and parameter uncertainties. The results are established in the form of LMI, which can be easily solved by standard numerical software. Finally, numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the validity and less conservatism of the results.
