Abstract:
Hybrid linear systems stability and performance are analysed in the context of semidefinite programming with conditions expressed by LMIs. First, new convex conditions for the global asymptotic stability of the origin are presented. These conditions are then generalised to provide a unified convex characterisation of performance for stable hybrid linear systems involving measures similar to ℋ2 and ℋ∞ norms. Academic examples illustrate the developed theory.
