Abstract:

A stability certificate is devised for sampled-data implementations of static feedback control that involve asynchronous sensor sampling and zero-order hold actuator updates, given linear time-invariant continuous-time system dynamics with two inputs. The approach involves structured robustness analysis, based on integral quadratic constraints (IQCs), for specified bounds on the uncertain sample and two update intervals involved. A family of new IQCs is developed for an operator that depends on multiple time-varying delays.
