Abstract:

This paper deals with the design of an H observer-like filter for discrete-time descriptor systems characterized by implicit nonlinear state and output equations which are assumed to locally satisfy Lipschitz-like conditions. The filter design is cast as a convex optimization problem involving a set of linear matrix inequalities subject to a linear equality constraint. The effectiveness of the proposed design is illustrated by a numerical example.
