Abstract:

The purpose of this research is the mathematical modelling of flight dynamics, stabilizing and control of the Vertical Take-Off and Landing aircraft during its transition from vertical to forward flight. The main investigated area is reduced to a two-dimensional case in a vertical plane. The design, analysis and the validation tests have been undertaken on the simulation aerial vehicle in the Matlab/Simulink environment to provide starting point for real flying VTOL model build.
