Abstract:
This project aims to design an efficient turbine using expert-recommended parameters and a key modifiable geometric factor. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) validates the design’s efficiency and benefits of a re-configurable turbine to take advantage of different operation regimens. Statistical analysis predicts the micro wind turbine’s power output in residential areas. Essential characteristics like power and aerodynamic coefficients are assessed. A hypothesis on electrical energy production is established. A prototype is built for real-time data collection in an uncontrolled environment, proving the concept of enhancing micro wind turbines through adjustable geometric parameters.
