Abstract:
Cooling systems consume 40% of the overall energy consumed by buildings. There are two types of cooling systems-ducted-centralized and ductless-split. These systems are deployed in enclosed areas or rooms to maintain desired temperature and comfort. Ductless-split cooling systems are widely used in residential buildings and small-scale industries because these cooling systems are less expensive and easy to maintain. However, they consume a lot of energy, similar to ducted-centralized cooling systems. We propose to optimize the energy consumption of ductless-split cooling systems by reducing the wastage of energy and carbon emissions. The wastage of energy consumption is due to continuous execution and anomalies in the cooling system.
