Abstract:
A method for determining kinematic quantities (displacement, instantaneous velocity, acceleration) in physics lessons using the smartphone video camera and the Wolfram Mathematica software product is proposed, which consists in video fixation of the mechanical movement of the body in slow motion, subsequent conversion of the video into a set of JPGformat frames, and processing of the obtained figures by means of computer mathematics systems. With the use of this method, an algorithm for performing a laboratory workshop in physics on the study of the motion of a body thrown at an angle to the horizon has been developed.
