Abstract:
In this paper, a joint antenna and relay selection design is employed in the full duplex (FD) relaying systems. The considered system composed of one transmitter, one receiver, and K FD decode-and-forward (DF) relays under Nakagami-m fading. Each relay adaptively chooses its transmit and receive antennas according to the instantaneous channel states, and one relay is chosen to maximize the signal to interference and noise ratio (SINR) of the system. We show that the proposed scheme achieves an extra spatial diversity because of the FD antenna selection at the relays and significantly enhances the system performance.
