In this paper we have studied two wastewater treatment plants from an energetic point of view. The studied plants are medium sized, and are new installations, commissioned in 2015. The focus was to identify energy improvement opportunities. It is shown that the most important consumers for such a plant are the blower station and the influent pumping station, but auxiliary non-technological consumers also play a major role in the total energy consumption.
