Abstract:
In this paper, a new fuel economy strategy for fuel cell vehicles is proposed. Its performance is analyzed using the sensitivity analysis of the load threshold, and indicators such as fuel economy and oxygen excess ratio. The fuel economy strategy uses fuel and air flows in a switched manner to operate the fuel cell system efficiently. The obtained fuel economy is highlighted compared to the reference strategy based on static feed-forward control.
