Providing efficiency during the process of authentication for intelligent cars represents an important step, as being vital for the security of the driver and for the integrity of the software system from the intelligent car. In this paper, we will discuss about an authentication protocol for intelligent cars that will work in a fog computing environment using a software-defined networking infrastructure. The solution proposed in this paper will make the process authentication more efficient, secure, with improved networking performance and providing a proper monitoring tool for a cloud computing.
