Abstract:
We propose and experimentally examine a silicon photonics SSBI (signal to signal beat interference) cancellation scheme. The subsystem rejects SSBI at very low carrier to signal power ratio, 3 dB lower than enhanced Kramer-Kronig receiver, without increasing system complexity.
