Abstract:

We demonstrated a low-loss and wide-band all-fiber OAM generator/multiplexer for SDM systems by cascading a mode selective photonic lantern and a mode-polarization controller. This device can be upgraded to higher order OAM and has potential for complex vector beams applications.
