Abstract:

A simple and efficient method for estimating modal amplitude and phase of few-mode-fiber based on artificial-neural-network with the help of grey-wolf-optimizer is proposed. Experimentally obtained six-mode near-field-patterns of recently proposed six-mode mixer are analyzed and successfully reproduced for the first time.
