Abstract:
This paper presents a synchronous rectifier solution to improve efficiency of receiving part of a wireless power transfer system. We give theoretical calculations of power losses and compare these with power losses on Schottky diode rectifier, which is a common device, applied in such systems. We tested the presented circuit concept on the receiving part of a wireless power transfer system. Then we analyzed and compared theoretical calculations and experimental results.
