Abstract:
The topics of high-precision inclinometers application in modern structural health monitoring systems for control of angular displacements of horizontally and vertically oriented objectsarydiscussed. Analysis is provided on large span as well as high-rise elements of civil structures, such as bridges and high-rise buildings. The review of inclinometria tools application on transport and civil engineering objects is executed. It is pointed that inclinometers are able to provide very precise measurements. Based on assumptions concerning the behavior of such objects as rods, conclusions are drawn with respect to a possibility of Fourier series application using the trigonometric polynomials as justifications for locating of inclinometers along the length/height of a rod. At the same time it is proved that mostly it is enough to use six-eight members depending on a form and design features of an research object. It is established that the form of a deformable rod under the influence of external factors is defined by the function received by a solution of system of the trigonometrical equations in which as arguments the data obtained by means of the established inclinometers are substituted.
