Abstract:
The paper proposed an optimal household load scheduling framework for home energy management systems to minimize the electricity bill and maximize users' comfort. The framework considers not only renewable energy and demand response requirement but also characteristics of home appliances and comfort level. Simulation results demonstrates its effectiveness.
