Abstract:

In this paper, we focus on designing and verifying data conflict that exists in a data pipeline. We propose a model to visualize the flow of data stream, representing data pileup of different time frames. Then, we propose a verification method to check if there is a sensitive data conflict in the data streaming pipeline by applying simple pattern matching using Knuth-Morris-Pratt (KMP) algorithm. We show that we can verify the data conflict from different data resources by analyzing the flow of data tokens in the pipeline. We also show the feasibility of using a time-shift encoder and decoder to protect the privacy of the data.
