Abstract:
This paper describes vocal tract cross-section function estimation and vocal tract length estimation for adaptation to a motorized vocal tract model. In the estimation, formants were extracted using threshold, and cross-section length was optimized by discretizing the cross-section function. Simulation results show that the estimation preserves the formants in the low-frequency range.
