Abstract:
The Discrete Fourier Transform is a fundamental transform used in digital signal processing. Due to the real-to-complex nature of this transform, attempts have been made to arrive at transforms with simpler structures that avoid real-to-complex conversion. The Cosine Integer Transform and the M-dimensional Real Transform are two such transforms. This paper presents a relationship between these two recent transforms.
