To manage the personal daily life data storage on digital equipments and programs, Cyber security plays a vital role. Slowly and gradually, it is going to become a global issue of our society and related to this, it is also very important to have the awareness about it. On different levels there are many platforms that provide awareness about this, such as social media and telecommunication related media. But it is also very important to measure and analyze how many people, especially youth have the information regarding cyber security issues. This study highlighted those cyber security issues that should be known by the students at Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET). Also, this study measures and analyzes the current level of cybersecurity awareness (CSA) among the students of SSUET. A total of 256 students have participated in this analysis which is done by using the questionnaire. A total of 33 questions have been asked to each student to measure the cybersecurity students’ awareness level. The proposed study has been concluded with different findings which not only show how our youth is taking seriously about the issues which are related to cyber security. Also, what efforts should we take to increase the knowledge among the students. And what should be the role of our society to deal with these issues.
