Abstract:
A sufficient condition for the absence of limit cycle oscillations is studied, and a new relaxed condition is proposed. Then a method to derive digital filter structures, which satisfy this condition, from a given form of second-order transfer function is presented. Several new structures have been obtained by applying the method to some transfer functions which are determined using certain criteria such as sensitivity.
