Abstract:

The introduction of Fast Least Squares (FLS) algorithms in real transversal adaptive filters implies that some modifications be made to the theoretical algorithms, that engineering parameters be introduced, and that information be provided to guide the practitioner in the selection of parameter values. These aspects are discussed in the present contribution. Implementation on a programmable signal microprocessor confirms, in broad lines, the theoretical results.
