Abstract:

This paper presents a design of a full-duplex (FD) relay transmission system for integrated radar sensing and communication with self-interference cancellation (SIC). Based on phased array antennas, a joint enhancement radar sensing and space domain SIC method is proposed. The reflected self-interference (SI) signals can be analyzed and detected by the enhancement radar sensing technique as well. Furthermore, the ability of SIC can be improved by changing the beam-forming with the direction of arrival (DOA) obtained by the enhancement radar sensing technique. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme can estimate the parameters of surrounding environment and improve the capability of space domain SIC more than 27 dB.
