Abstract:

The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to a network of physical devices embedded with sensors, actuators, software, and other technologies that can connect and exchange data with other devices via the Internet. These devices range from everyday household items to advanced industrial tools. This paper outlines a cost-effective, long-range Industrial IoT system. This system adopts licensed RF transceivers, wireless sensor nodes, a receiver, a Raspberry Pi MQTT/SparkPlug B client, and an Ignition SCADA system. This proposed IIoT system provides a good option where LoRa technology may not be a viable solution due to its constraints.
