Abstract:

In the next few years, Connected Vehicles have become a huge industry with the growth of the Internet of Things (IoT). Connected Vehicles are the main building block of the Internet of Vehicle (IoV. A major issue in the Urban area is Traffic congestion because the number of vehicles are increased in the roadway. The context of vehicular traffic has been studied in many novels studies to make it less congested, safer, more economical, and time-consuming. This paper reviews the different bio-inspired algorithms previously used that is Ant Colony Optimization (ACO), Particular Swarm Optimization (PSO), Artificial Bee Colony (ABC), Cuckoo search to optimize route selection to avoid traffic flow by considering various Parameters like Packet Delivery Ratio, Throughput, End to end Delay. We are considering a Linux Platform to Perform the task with the help of NS2 to get the result of the Ant Colony Optimization monitoring and traceback Procedure.
