Abstract:
In this paper 3×1 cylindrical dielectric resonator (CDRA) is proposed. The cylindrical dielectric resonator is composition of Alumina ceramic A{l_2}{O_3} and fabricated on Rogers RT5880 substrate {\varepsilon _r} = 2.2. Loss tangent \tan {{\delta }}\;{{0}}{{.0009}}. Ground is copper 0.035mm and feeding is done through microstrip line. In this three CDRA Array mechanism is used to achieve satisfactory results the main motive of this design covers the IEEE 802.16d Band (2-11GHz). And this design operates at 9.6 GHz gain and bandwidth performance is analysed using CST microwave studio software which is used to monitor and study the efficiency of the recommended antenna in terms of return loss and frequency gain. CDRA shows up gain of 9.49 dBi at 9.6 GHz and 10.9 dBi at 6.75 GHz. It can be applicable in 802.16d band (2-11 GHz) which is a low microwave frequency range and for WLAN Wi-Fi, WiMAX and other wireless applications.
