Abstract:

It is promising to enhance the spatial domain diversity for the conventional coordinated multi-point (CoMP) transmission/reception over the heterogeneous network structure of relay stations and home base stations in addition to conventional base stations. However, supporting potentially massive mobile stations (MSs) is the critical challenge in the heterogeneous network CoMP (Het-CoMP), which results in severe service congestions. 3GPP thus developed a solution for individual stabilization in each base station (BS). However, MSs within dense areas still suffer severe radio request delivery delays. To facilitate MSs escaping from continuous congestions, we propose the statistical mutual induction computing (SMIC) for the optimum requests load sharing to eliminate substantial defects in the existing solution, thus significantly improving requests delivery delays.
